Ken Froehling´s article published in Canadian Landscapes.

An article by Kenneth Froehling, M.A., entitled "The Enemy of My Enemy: The Making of Fred Rose, M.P.", has recently been published in Canadian Landscapes, a journal co-published by the Central European Association for Canadian Studies. This issue presents a variety of new perspectives on Canadian literature, cultural history, sociology, history, and politics. Ken's contribution focuses on a byelection in the Montreal federal riding of Cartier during the Second World War (1943) and the related political rise of Communist candidate Fred Rose.
