Two new publications by Eva Ellederová have been listed in the Web of Science database.
In the empirical study "Information Technology Students' Metadiscourse: Boosting and Hedging in Classroom Argumentative Debates" the author uses corpus analysis to explore the modification of illocutionary force by students of information technology in structured class debates.
The second article, "Rhetorical Strategies Used by Information Technology Students in In-Class Presentations", published in the IAFOR Journal of Education, examines how information technology students construct and develop persuasive arguments through an analysis of rhetorical strategies in a sample of presentations given in an "English for IT" course.
